Wanted to make these socks for a while but daren’t risk using the Milarrochy Tweed for socks as, in the past using pure wool resulted in socks that hole on the first wear. It’s just too dispiriting making anything that wears out in less time than it takes to make.
I’ve found it difficult to find sock yarn in the colours I would have liked and using the computer screen isn’t always satisfactory.
The result is socks that are disappointing and I’m not sure if they will be finished.
