This is the first hat I have designed myself!
Although I decided on each chart and colours before I started knitting, some of them then changed along the way.
I didn’t like my first crown, so cut it off (literally!) and tried again.
When I started writing up the pattern, I decided to change Chart B slightly too.
And I want to make a much lighter colour ribbing on my next hat, so included two ribbing options in the pattern.

Colours used in the pattern -
A Eesit/white
B Natural white
C Dark blue
D Teviot
E China Blue
F Sorbet
G Moorgreen
H Chartreuse
I Lipstick (or a suitable scrap)

(I used less than one ball of the background colour.)

NB in the photo of the body of the hat, I used lipstick at the top of the ribbing but in the published pattern, it has changed to Sorbet. You can also see some yellow stitches in the pattern just above the rib. This have also been changed to Sorbet in the pattern, and Chart B has been amended.
