Notes

I’ve made a virus shawl in the past. And I’ve made granny squares. But Pat has combined them in the most ingenious way to make a shawl.

I knew it would look brilliant as a square though and I need to make a baby blanket, so I’m simply making 2 right angle triangle shawls in one, to form the square.

blush I had a little chat with Pat and told her my plan - luckily she told me to start with a 5 row granny to make the stitch count work! Would have taken me several attempts to work that out!

I still turned the work on every row to be sure of keeping it absolutely square - I hate to see wonky crochet squares!
