Notes

I scored a Clover Wonder Knitter and have been messing around making i-cords with it. The cords are neatly knitted but especially on the 6-pin disk come out quite a bit looser than what I’d make by hand, and I have a hard time figuring out how to do a decent cast on and bind off.

My daughter requested I make one of my sample cords into a snake, so I worked up a crochet head and fastened it to the open end of the cord. I ran yarn through the back of the head so the stuffing wouldn’t squeeze out into the tail, which is unstuffed.

The snake has a felt tongue, embroidered nostrils, and 9mm safety eyes. To ensure the head came out all one color, I cut out lengths of the purple-to-blue color transitions and just joined them in as I went.
