I had some yarn left from my lace shrug so decided to use the above pattern as a little extra gift to my sister. Really quick, telly knitting project. I cast on 40 stitches (instead of the 36) and did a 2 by 2 rib for 6 inches. I seamed for 2 inches at top, left a gap for the thumb for 1.5 inches and seamed the rest.
