I have knitted this before and it was a lovely sweater, then I felted it one wash. I think I programmed the machine to a quick wash rather than the cold rinse and spin which I use on all my woollies, the programmes are next to each other. I was seriously in the doghouse with Eleanor as it was her favourite sweater. She picked the new colour which I think is nicer than the original grey.
I have finished and sew in the ends just need the eyes.
I made a few changes to the pattern, I worked 13 rows of rib then on the 14th increased 8 stiches then worked the main body without the shaping (68 rounds) then I had the correct amount of stiches at the armhole divide. I used 6 balls of yarn so have one spare. My daughter loves this more than the original as it is a little more roomy.
