Note:

It helped me a lot, using safety pins as stitch marker.
I marked every 20th and 100th stitch and the in-/decrease stitches with different colored stitch markers in the round before.
= Before beginning a new round, identify the increase points and set the stitch marker. So you can crochet the round without counting. Especially in the later/ larger rounds.
But in doubt, counting is the key. Have you the right amount of stitches? At the end of each round, the first number in bold should be your stitch count.
For example:
After round 30 you should have 363 stitches.
If you have not, decrease or increase your stitches evenly in round 31, to end with 591 stitches.
Then you can continue according to the instructions.

For the assembling, I used a carbon fiber rod from a kite and 2 mm aluminum wire.
It turned out that the wire is too soft. This causes the sculpture to bend under its own weight alone.
I have to realign the Manifold after a while.

Today I put a paper rose in the middle of my Lorenz manifold. The paper rose fits perfectly there.
