Hmmm… I think I love parts of this cardigan, but then I also really, really dislike other parts, so I’m all in all a bit disappointed I guess?

The look and style was what first drew me in, I love the deep v-neck and the pockets, and I love how the ribbing really accentuates the garment. But. Listen, it’s got weirdly tight sleeves and it’s knit at a way too loose gauge since it weighs about the same as a chubby baby bear… So in an attempt to make it more wearable to me I tightened the gauge from 15/10 to 17/10 and I knitted it 15’ish cm shorter than the instructions calls for. I still adore the look, but it’s just too heavy and slouchy to be comfortable. It’s going up for sale in a local shop, so that someone with stronger shoulders than me might be able to enjoy it. And I’ll keep looking for the perfect cardigan pattern, because I still need that in my life
