Not wanting a very oversized jumper, I take a chance at a tighter gauge and a different yarn. I use my favorite combo of Rauma Finull and Alpaca Silk instead of Fivel (not my favorite) and will thus end up with a much softer result. I also know that this yarn combo will keep me warm in this very wintery winter…

Other mods:

I fear not steeks, but for comfort of wearing the garment, I absolutely avoid it when the fabric is as thick as in this model. So I split for knitting flat when I reach the underarm point on the body.

I’m not imagining myself enjoying the original neck style with no scooped out part at all, so I fix that as well, both front and back. Kind of eyeballing where I would like the scoop to start and winging it from there.

Didn’t care much for the raw edges, so I took the time to finish all edges with an I-cord.
