I knitted the sleeves flat because I found it a lot more enjoyable than knitting such a narrow sleeve with some long floats in the round.

Body is first worked in the round, bottom up, until separating for sleeves. I omitted steek stitches and knitted the top part flat instead, not wanting the extra bulk of a steek over and around my shoulders on such a fitted jumper.

I was going to visit my daughter and opted for the Hurtigruten from Ålesund to Molde instead of driving through the snowy mountain, and thus gaining a lot of quality knitting time whilst traveling.

I absolutely love the pattern and wouldn’t mind revisiting it at some point!
