Watched Summer’s video on YouTube when she showed the design process of Mazie, dropped everything else I was doing, went to Ravelry, bought the pattern, started knitting.

It is now in the middle of the night and the leg is done, I’ll be able to take a better picture of my pastel colors when daylight comes around again. I’m trying to talk myself into stop having so much fun knitting and go to sleep instead, but man, it is hard…

Perfect breakfast today: a double espresso and a heel turn! These colors are taking me straight back to the 80’s.

Outside the rain is pouring down all day so I get a lot of knitting time, yay! By the evening the first sock is ready for a bath and I love the look and fit. It might take a bit longer to finish the next one, depending on how much adulting I feel like I have to do tomorrow…

Nope, not much adulting happening here today! Enjoyed a lazy Sunday in my recliner, knitting cheerfully along until the second sock was done. Will give them both a bath tonight, and when they have magically become super soft and squishy tomorrow, I will take better photos in the daylight.
