What a treat to knit and wear! I love, love, love my Tiptoe through the tulips socks! I will most certainly make more in other color ways as well.

Forethought heel
As many others have expressed, I couldn’t make heads nor tale from the heel description in the pattern, so I opted for a forethought heel instead. (Which I very much like and use quite often)

Since then I did some digging and found that Charlotte has made a YouTube tutorial on the heel in the pattern, and I think I might try it next time.

Also, I omitted row 9 from the pattern diagram only on the leg part in order to get it to be just a bit shorter. Followed diagram on foot.
