01.05.12: Did the first half today and love it so far! I’m a big fan of wool but chose Pure Milk for this project and I think it’s perfect. Pure Milk must be the softest fiber to wear close to the skin, it’s just gorgeous!

About the yarn:

The Pure MILK fiber yarn is anti-bacterial and gives proteins to the skin while wearing garments made of it. It feels airy and dry, therefore it is especially suitable for spring/summer projects and for baby clothing. And this is so true!

This pattern is for size newborn-3 months. My baby is 10 weeks old today and I added about 10% to the size.

• Cast On 54 stc (pattern says 50)
• knit ribbing for 22cm (pattern says 20)

02.05.12: All the knitting done! Will finish the vest tomorrow :)

03.05.12: All done, used exactly one skein. Love this vest :)
