Recommended Chunky weight yarn replaced with 2 strands of 8ply held together.
Hook sizes remained the same, except the black nose (made with 1 strand of 8ply), worked with a 2.25mm hook.

The antlers were tough on my hands! Like, I need to rest them for a few weeks kinda tough!
