This beautiful cowl completes a set of Heartbreak accessories that I made to go with a light purple coat I bought at the end of 2016!

The set uses six yarns + 1 roving and includes 3 cowls, 2 hats, and a pair of convertible mitts.

I love every project in this set and wear them all regularly. The Podsters gave me a lot of trouble. I’ve made the pattern before without trouble, but this time I got so annoyed that I sent them to New Zealand and DaisyJaneNZ finished them for me! They’re so toasty warm and I love them.

I’m coming back to this after 5 years and I really wish I had taken better notes… It looks like I got through round 16 the second time.

I wasn’t through the evolution when I got through round 26 the second time, so I’m going to continue through round 28, knit rounds 1-12, and then do the edging. I’ll go through the pattern 2.5 times instead of just twice.

Today, I finished round 28 the second time.

I ran out of the evolution and switched to the coordinate about halfway through the lace edging.
