Sock-along with Vex & Beck

Plain sock normally at 64 sts so following the General’s 66 stitch/11 stitch panel numbers

Double crochet cast on (CW) 72 sts

Note: I hate LB yarn sometimes. A break. Seriously, just two ends, laying right next to each other. In the middle of a color run. At least they didn’t break the color sequence.

Note2: another break with a knot, then wow, another set of 2 breaks. WTF Lion Brand!?

Ribbing: k1, p2, k2, p2, repeat to last stitch, k1

Total 16 rounds ribbing

Leg: 64 rows, ending on knit row (32 slip stitches)

First stripe done. It looks like the beginnings of a thong, lol.

First sock: two stripes done, and OMFG I love this sock.
Second sock: cast on and almost through the first stripe.

Notes for future socks (because there will be more):

• 12 rounds ribbing - leg was a wee bit too long
• Keep total number of stitches as cast on and knit, e.g. do not decrease below stated on sole of the foot. The stripes are a tiny bit stretched, so any further decreases will only make this worse.
• 66 sts plus 6 sts for selvedge along stripes (72 sts total) is perfect, as was 2.5mm needles
• This was the perfect pattern for my Addi FlexiFlips
