I got to 6” on a row 5 of the blossom stitch and began the top ribbing.

For the thumb, I found that it was way too tight, so I unraveled back to the start of it and picked up 2 extra stitches, giving me 18 stitches total instead of 16. Instead of K2, P2 I accounted for the extra stitches with K4, P2, like the top ribbing.

Somehow the cable stitch went a little longer on my 2nd mitt. I also noticed that I made a few absent-minded errors in the cables (holding cable stitches on the wrong sides). But it’s not noticeable.

I love these! I may even make a 2nd pair sometime.
