Only very loosely based on the pattern.

I CO 104st on straight and knitted the 1st 8 in stockingette, then k2p2 to the last 6 st and then stockingette, for about 2”.

Then I joined it in the round, lapping the last 6 stitches under the first 6. When finished I’m going to sew a button through both layers.

on 1st row around, increased to 128 st. Worked 8 repeats of the pattern around, instead of 9, and with ONE purl stitch between each pattern repeat instead of 2.

Also I reversed the direction of the last 3 (single) cables (held to the back) and did the decreases off the cable needle instead of in front of the cable.
