This sweater is fitted over the hips, hugs the waist and then has a loose bodice. But it does not get puffy in the bodice because of the rib stitch. Then it is pulled in at the top of the shoulder, for a good fit at the top. The hand-dyed yarn is great: the Banded Rib stitch really shows off the variations in the yarn. And I loved working with Madelinetosh’s Tosh DK. I went on to use it for another sweater -- soon to surface -- and a whole set of baby sweaters. It is really nice to work with and becomes soft enough to have next to your skin when washed!!
