well, I run out of alpaca (I had 1.65 skein left after another project), so I frogged my daughters beret and was 100 per cent sure, that it is the same alpaca.. it turned out that it’s merino, but I noticed this only when blocking - however, I was so lucky, that the colours were almost the same and noone except me can tell the difference :).

and I managed to make it into triangle by blocking - well, a slight diamond shape is still there, but I do not think it’s a big deal

07/07/2011 - oh well, it turned out too small.. frogging down to the lace part…

Used the same method as here to avoid diamond shape (curved upper edge)
