Japanese lace is not for the light-hearted :D. And not for relax knitting…
But - totally addictive. You know the feeling - just one more row, just this motive, just to see how it’s turning out..

Mods:

• Added 2 lace repeats to the skirt (14 sts/repeat, total 280 sts). Should have made 31 lace border repeats - picking up 9 sts/repeat plus 1 sts = 280 sts, made only 30 (no math for me :D), so had to pick up additional sts along the first row.
• short sleeves (or at least not wide)
• top portion - topdown and seamed at waistline (still in consideration phase)

Lace border + 2 first rows = 1 ball
2.5 skirt pattern repeats = 2 balls

Yarn:
Tried it before in stockinette stitch and liked. Yes, it’s splitty, but knits up nicely and is pleasant to wear. Lace makes more problem (due to the same splittiness), but good sharp needles help a lot.

Yellow shiny mustard to fight away the blues. Second radioactive iodine treatment for cancer :)
