Some quick photos before giving away to my mum - she had asked to knit a linen shawl for her doctor, and it was long ago (August, maybe?).

Forgot to measure the length, width in the widest part was 14”. Three pattern repeats + the border. Probably one more pattern repeat would have been a good idea, as linen is not stretching as much as wool when blocking - well, it’s too late now :)

ETA (26/12): OK, the shawl will come back to me, so I’ll add one more pattern repeat - and maybe a border in different colour, we’ll see. So more and better photos will follow

Lovely and easy to memmorise pattern - once you get “the flow”, it’s enough to glance at the chart once in a while just to be sure to be sure.

Feb. 2014: Added one more pattern repeat and another colour for last 5 rows and BO.
Final measurements: widest part - 49 cm, wingspan - 212 cm
