Notes

The dress was knit for a bunny, but looked a bit small. The bear was knit for the rainy day bear project, but also looked a bit too small. So, I changed tack and decided on a dainty bear. The bear was knit in Drops air, which is medium thick, but knits up quite small on 3mm needles. It’s a blown yarn and should be knit on 5mm. It really needs to be held with a strand of kidsilk, which I have done before, to make a big enough animal.

The cardigan is the top down one stopping at row 28.

Dress
Cast on 98 st. The fairisle stripe is from page 149 of Mary Jane Mucklestones book 200 fairisle designs. I reduced the number of st to 88 before the waist decrease to reduce bulk. But since it is a 4ply cotton, there was no bulk! It would have been better leaving the full volume in the skirt. This is why it looked a bit skimpy on the slightly bigger bunny.
