It boggled my mind a bit that my stash allowed me to do this in either 4 ply or dk! Since the bear is in nepal which is aran wt, I thought the 4 ply might be a little close fitting which I didn’t particularly want, so I used the dk, except for the first purlple. This didn’t matter as the Rico is a fine dk.
I loved this one. I can see further rainbows, maybe with a hat
