Cast on 92 st. In strawberryade and worked 2 repeats of lace pattern in photos. ( this used 98 st, but as it’s a multiple of 6 plus 2 edge st., for this dress I used 92 st.)
I reduced the st count to 80 st and continued in st st until there were 20 rows in total.
I left this piece on a spare needle.

Cast on 92 st in pink and did 2 repeats of the lace pattern, reduced st count to 80 * and knit the next row joining this piece with the first piece. Continued in st st until there were 20 rows from start of 2nd frill. Put this aside on a spare meedle

Repeated the above step in strawberryade to * and knit this together with the original piece. Then decreased to 36 st and stst 2 or 3 rows to armholes. I’m vague about this because I joined the first 2 pieces on a knit row, and the second time on a purl row to see which was easier. Both were awkward and very time consuming. I’m wondering if it would be easier to sew the layers together .
If gave a nice full lacy skirt at the end though.
