Made stocking as pattern written but for top cuff I did the following:
With H/5mm hook
Turn, hdc in ea st around (wrong side will be facing)
Ch1, sc in 3rd loop around, join
Ch2, fpdc, bpdc around, join
Repeat for 6 total rounds matching up fp and bp
For hanging ring
Ch12, join to form a circle
Sc 21 into circle
Sew on to stocking inside cuff

Sewed on letters with sewing thread and needle

I really like how these came out. I made the stockings up pretty quickly even with my changing the cuff. The pattern goes fast and is easy to follow.
I struggled with figuring out how to do the letters. Once I decided how I was going to make them, getting them all done and sewing them on was tedious work but it looks great.
