Description

This is a loose fit 18inch doll hat. With a 1inch rib around the bottom, and a plaid design on the hat. Made on double pointed knitting needles and size medium yarn. This hat is super easy and consists of a basic knit stitch and a simple decrease.

Marerials

•Size 4/Medium yarn in both red and black
•Size US8-5mm double pointed knitting needles

Notes

• I made the ribbing in MC on this hat, but for an even colouring do the ribbing in CC
• This hat is worked in the round
• This hat can be made in any colour combinations, (I used black and red for a more flannel like look and a canadian look)

Pattern

CO▪Cast on 70 stitches, space the stitches so there
are 25 stitches on needle1, 25 on needle2 and 20
on needle3.

Cut tail string to 6 inches for both colours, weave tails through all stitches and pull tight. Weave in ends.
