Gigi bought the yarn to make a shawl, but she lost interest so I decided to try and make a cardigan for her and her older sister.

Didi stockinette stitch facing out instead of the purl side as the pattern directed.

Turned out small enough for skinny teenage girls since my gauge is way tighter than the pattern. A very nice surprise since I didn’t think of doing a swatch.

This is my first cardigan. Even though it’s an easy pattern, I had to rip and re-knit a lot since I was learning. I’d like to make it again with different yarn.
