Jul 25th : I am ready for the Ravellnic, knitting for the icelandic Team, with Hélène Magnusson. Cast on will begin in 2 days, on jul 27th.
As I already knitted some Rosavettlingar mittens, I am kniting this hat to match and have the whole set :)

Jul 27th : Watching the Olympic Opening show, I am casting on, using Twisted german cast on technique. Wonderful result, very elastic, strectchy !

The ribbs are not knitted the classical way and the finish is very lovely.
Jul 28th : it’s saturday, I have more time to knit. I am beginning the colourwork.
Jul 29th : My hat is finished but not flat yet. Need to block it. I will insert a plate inside to give it its final shape.
Jul 29th evening : My hat is a real beret now. it’s flat and it seems to be lovely as my daughter already stole it to me :)))
