I received this yarn from Sherry/Sdtilepcs in the Spin or Dye swap Group. It is a thick/thin yarn spun and plied at random….yarn for the sake of yarn.

I happened to have this yarn at work on my desk. My office is surrounded by windows and yes, venetian blinds(what do people living in Venice call their blinds?) which I love to have pulled up every morning. Well, I dont know if you are like me but the latch never releases both sides of the blind equally. Inspiration can come from the strangest of places and this was mine.

The hands clasp I picked up at this funky store in Vancouver called Button Button.
Sept 2014: Clasp update….I went to Button Button for more hand clasps and the original manufacturer sold. The new manufacturer decided not to produce these hand clasps anymore. :( Anyway, Button Button is a fantastic store and even though you wont be able to get the hand clasps, you will me mesmerized at the array of stunning buttons and other clasps on offer!
