I actually followed the tutorial on youtube for this hat and found it to be very easy. I’m not sure how close the pattern is to it. I added a few more rounds when she put in the elastic because I like a deeper hat and also another decrease row. I did add elastic but with the extra decrease row the hat fit me like a glove and I think I could have done without it. Definitely love the hat. If I make another one I think I might give it a nice lining and maybe a snap, though not too sure about the snap… The brim is pretty sturdy with the doubled up yarn, but it may not lay as nicely with a snap in the middle. But love the hat and gotten a lot of complements on it!
