Notes

Finally some real socks for me! I really enjoy toe up, so far my favorite way to make a sock. I did take a little break to work on some crochet items after the first sock.

Was very excited to use this yarn, my first real sock yarn. I think I did a pretty good job of matching up the stripes. My stitches still aren’t the prettiest and I think I’d prefer to knit with this size yarn on a 2mm needle because I like a denser fabric. The socks fit nice and are very comfy. :)

I made up a new toe design and I really like the way it feels and looks. I’ll be making a youtube tutorial, I think, on how I did it. Used a fleegle heel on these. the next socks I make I’m going to try a new heel design I have muddling in my head.

My friend gifted me a bunch of sock yarn and I’m just thrilled to work with it. She’s requested a few of the skeins so I’m hoping I’ll have things down a bit neater by the time I get to them. :)
