Very dense fabric. Followed pattern instructions but added 1 chevron repeat. Repeated full pattern 12 times. Still only came out to 36 x 40, even with border and after blocking.

Border is pattern 130 from “The complete book of crochet border designs : hundreds of classic & original patterns” by Linda Schapper. (found it at my local public library).

• only repeated each section of border 3 times (as opposed to the 4 times the pattern calls for).
