I thought it was the coolest idea ever!
I’ve been making doily’s into afghans for a long
time but I never would have thought to make a tire cover.

I’ll probably make many many more.

Yarn is Caron one pounder. I used a size H hook. Followed pattern until I got to the sides of the tire. Row 17.. Did the chain 6 lace until it reached the back of tire then decreased with Double crochet in each chain loop. Made a chain to lace thru the back, cinched up and tied. Easy peasy.
My husband suggested I use elastic so now I am putting tubular elastic thru the back like a regular tire cover…
