Notes

The Marina I originally looked at was too greenish, going with lilac. It brings out the purple in the Whimsical. Of course my last project was also purple and a variegated tencel LOL. Well I love the colors I love :)

Each lilac stripe takes 4 grams.

First half done. I added a picot at the top of each peak on the border. I also started the second half on a row 6 rather than have two mesh sections together, it would look goofy with my stripes.

OK so I didn’t do the same number of repeats on the second half as were on the first half as it was just getting way too long. I should have done three less repeats on the first side. I also wish I had made it wider - I would have had enough Lilac especially if I made it shorter. But it looks really pretty, much more so in person than laying flat. Once I get it blocked the modeled photos will hopefully show that :)
