the woods in winter are not dull and drab. there is lots of chocolatey brown and grey. lots or small bushes in golden hues , some deep purple, reds lavender and many shades of pale beige and ecru, mustard and russet in fall grasses lingering in clearings and nearby open meadows, the more you look the more you see.
