Combined Stroll Tweed with striped Kroy Socks (2 as 1). CO 110 These two yarns are a combination of donegal tweed, superwash wool, merino and nylon fibres. Soft and warm combination. Approx Aran weight.

Changed the cable pattern in the center panels.
Cranberry Caplet instrucions do not include written pattern info for the cable. I couldn’t get it right, not sure what I was doing wrong, so I opened my favorite pattern book, (Up Down, All Around]1) and found another cable pattern. (Staghorn Cable). I am happy with it and easier to do.

The Staghorn Cable is designed for 16 stitches and since Cranberry’s cable panel is for 18 stitches, I added an extra purl stitch at the beginning and end.

Half way into knitting I have changed from 4.5 mm to 5.0 mm and then 5.5 mm needles. for rest of the garment.

Knit Length so far: 10” from start of cable. Total Stitches: 238

Length from start of collar to bottom edge: 19 1/2”
Collar Length opened : 5 3/4”
Collar Length folded:
Length from beginning of cable to end of ribbed edge is 14”
Total Circumference ribbing edge: 66”

NOTES:

Should have cast off with a 5 mm needle as it is a bit too wide.
For indoor wear I would like to knit this caplete with DK yarn.
