Our family Doctor “Janet” had a baby girl in early July and I got busy to weave a blanket as a gift. I waited as I had the salmon pink but no blues and if it was a boy, I would have to buy some!

The draft is 8 shaft and 12 treadles and used 32” of my 34” inch wide Spring loom. I had to tie back my unused heddles.

The new baby is getting the blanket with the pink hem and the other two are going into my Etsy shop.

Green or pink hem: are 28” by 45” finished
Plaid with white hem is 28” by 51” finished

All the work is in the threading and tie up so a nice straight run for treadling.

The cottons washed up beautifully soft. Hand sewn hems done tightly for the laundering to come!
