Our spring seems to be stalled in loading and we get rain, rain, some wind, a lot of wind and repeat. So I took my chances today and took some pictures as yet another storm is coming in tonight.

I finished these a while back but my shoulder strain meant a 2 month hiatus from weaving and doing much with my right arm and shoulder.

This is a 9 shaft 3 three block twill which is pretty darn nifty as you can increase the size of the blocks depending on the look you want. Playing with colour and cottons , I reckon it would make a nice baby blanket.

Here we have 20/2 black silk, sett 28 epi and cream 20/2 silk. The edges weren’t as nice as the silk slips a bit on the turns but I needled them into place for the most part.
