On a trip to Bordeaux I visited the lovely Marie at La Lainerie. In the shop they had this poncho knitted up as a sample and I knew it would be perfect for niece #2!

So I purchased the wool and was given a copy of the pattern as part of the kit. After overcoming the fact the pattern is in French I managed to make all the pieces and with a little help from Marie by email I finished the hood.

The pattern seems to be unpublished, or at least no longer published as I can’t find the designer nor a similar pattern on Ravelry.

But I love the design and can’t wait to gift this to my niece in time for Winter 2019!
