I made one of these for my other half who loves it so much I needed to make one for me! But I much prefer cardigans to sweaters so of course - challenge accepted!

I knit the pattern as planned but added in some additional stitches at the centre of the body for the steeks. I also did a standard 1x1 rib rather than a 1x1 twisted rib as I think that will be easier (and probably more stable!) to pick up stitches in for the button band.
