So I have this black from Sarah’s Yarns… cashmere 20/80 merino, super fine, 7-8 sti on 1-3 needle. This is probably like light fingering right? HUM 220 yards in 50 grams. Gee, is that WW?!!!! Well, whatever it is I believe this is the yarn.

Someplace around here (chitlins will have to dig) I have this solid turquoise which is also cashmere… the Nissels would be stunning!

So the black is “SPACE the final frontier” and the border is turquoise… can you see the Enterprise in the border?? Or is it just me and DD who are nutter?

The photo looks charcoal but it’s solid black. Me not being able to leave well enough alone I have made many repeats to enlarge the shawl as I have so very many balls of this yarn. It’d be a shame not to use them all up right?

I ended up beading the neck area and the border just randomly as I could see the stars floating by. Or should I say streaking by? A lovely shawl that will be great for winter wear and wont fall off if you tuck it into your skirt waist. Since you can’t see the beads in the photo’s on my DD I decided to take a shot of cat yuck and VIOLA there they are. Stars in the great beyond.
