This pattern, as all of Michele Wang’s patterns are, is a joy to knit. Straightforward instructions, a classic result and a perfect way to show off wonderful yarn.

My favorite detail is the k1p2 ribbing on the edging that compliments the twisted stitch of the body. It was a surprisingly quick knit--one of the “just one more rows” that takes you into the night.

I had a hard deadline for this sweater--I needed to finish it in time to meet Stephanie Pearl-McPhee at her book signing in Seattle. As the pictures show, I completed it in time, and even made her blog! Check it out here.
