This hat was quick and fun, but I found the sizing to be off. I cast on 72 stitches for the 6 month size for my 4 month old and had to rip it out and start over, this time with 84 stitches. Her head is 16” around, which is the average size for her age. I would recommend going by the head circumference references, rather than the age references. Other than that, I love it and get lots of compliments when she wears it. This may be a gift knit for the future.
