This pattern was great, and the sweater is sleek and very cozy. BUT I am mad at Malabrigo for telling me my dye lots were the same when they were not. I consider it a lesson learned (pay attention when knitting and alternate every 2 rows next time), but the mistake keeps me from loving it 100%. I figure that since its my first sweater, there had to be something, right?

Overall, I am proud of myself for finishing a sweater. And this is sure to be the first in a long line of sweaters for me.

WIP Post
I am loving knitting this sweater. I am almost sad for it to be over … but not quite, I can’t wait to wear it!

My 30th birthday goal is to knit myself a sweater. I bought the yarn at Stitches South in 2010 with this sweater in mind and finally worked up the nerve to get it going. There is just enough to keep me interested, but not too much that I can’t bring it on my commute or knit while watching the Voice.

It is my first project with Malabrigo Twist and I am loving the feel. It has the softness of Malabrigo, but it is sturdier. My only complaint is that my second skein of yarns so far has three knots in it, which is a pain. I am hoping it wears better than Malabrigo worsted.
