I could not resist casting on for Polar immediately. Thankfully, I had built a small Shelter stash and had the yarn on hand. The Fossil in Shelter is the most perfect white I have ever laid my eyes on. I want piles of sweaters in it.

So far, this hat is flying off the needles. It is such a fun and quick pattern, I may be doing many more of these in the future.

Update: I am finally uploading the sad bathroom-mirror photo of my beloved Polar. I left my WIP bag on the train during my morning commute when all that needed to be added to the hat was the pom and the tassles. Someone in San Francisco is very styling.
