I made my husband a Turn a Square about a year and a half ago. He wore it everywhere, including on a camping trip that turned into a giant rainstorm. He came home and dumped a pile of soaking-wet clothing in the laundry room. I scooped it up and put it in the washing machine, and then the dryer. Then I found his teeny, tiny, felted remnant of Turn a Square. He was devastated and even went to far as to put it on his head and attempt to stretch it out. No luck. This is his replacement favorite hat, this time in superwash wool.
