I loved testing this pattern, it was well laid out and easy to understand. I very much liked the way the pattern has you add the shaping so that the back neck has more fabric than the front neck (so the front neck doesn’t ride up.)It isn’t short rows in the colourwork, which is great-- no purling colourwork!

I love my finished jumper, and I would recommend this pattern for: someone who has done a a bit of colourwork before. I say that simply because the pattern repeats are different & probably not so simple if it is your first colourwork. But saying that, the pattern is clear, so not impossible for a first-timer.

My Colours: Dark Grey: body
White: snow,neck ect
light blue: (her brown)
sparkle blue: (her green)
I also held some sparkle/sequin lace yarn with the sparkle blue, and the white icicles at bottom of yoke
knitting size 4 /L

Am tighter knitter, used 5.5mm needles for colourwork.
I used sleeve decreases for size M as ive shorter arm & I am short!
On sleeve I changed from 5mm to 4.5 on row 60.
I didn’t do white cuffs, also just stayed at the 4.5 mm needles rather than going smaller on ribbing.
Also on body did not do the colourwork & only about 1in of ribbing, and not in white
