Long tail cast on.
Body knitted to 30cm before starting colourwork.
22/1/24 I hadn’t ordered enough of the darkest colour and only realised when I ran out! I took the opportunity to pop it on barber cords and try it on and block it whilst waiting for more yarn to arrive. It feels very rustic and crunchy and I’m hoping the fibres will relax a little when left in water overnight.
6 stitches cast off on each one of the last 3 rows of the body to give it a bit more shape. Shoulders stitched together and stitches picked up for the sleeves and sleeves knitted top down. Hopefully making them less bulky. 90 stitches picked up for each sleeve and sleeves decreased by 2 stitches on every 6th row.
7/2/24 sleeves feel very wide but if they’re still too big after blocking, I’ll steek and stitch them narrower.
