Cast on stitches knitted together with the live stitches. Last 6 stitches of the casing placed on hold to thread the elastic through.

Length 52.5cm at the last increase.
Approx 30cm left to knit.

Mid-project block at 70cm, I’m only 5’3” and feel that this will stretch a lot.
Pre-block gauge 16 x 25

When laid flat (after 1 hour soak in wool wash and 1200RPM spin only in the washing machine) the length measures 79.5cm

Folded hem knitted with 1 strand of soft tweed. Stitched picked up and live stitches knitted together by the way of a 3 needle bind off with 2 strands of mohair.
